Sheri Ford Lewin

Sheri Ford Lewin is currently the leader of Thrive Clermont,  a local 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit with a mission of Empowering Teens to Succeed. Thanks to the support of private donations and community grants, Thrive Clermont currently offers: Summer PopUps, Fall ADULTING Series, and our LEAP into College Conference . 

 

These programs offer lifeskills and enrichment programming to prepare young adults for the road ahead. Thrive Clermont’s programs and events are open to any interested teen ages 13-18.

 

Sheri has raised three children (now ages 26, 19, and 17) and run her private consulting business in Clermont since 1999.

Why She Serves: I like to feel that my efforts in volunteering are making an impact for others. In putting my skills to work as Thrive’s Volunteer Executive Director,  I enjoy working with other leaders in Lake County. I serve with the goal of leading others in developing innovative and enticing programs that empower teens to become successful individuals, active community members, and effective world citizens.

Interests/Hobbies:  I am happiest reading or walking at the beach, gardening in my yard, and cooking for people I love.​

Fun Fact: Some find it weird, but I love to volunteer on boards and I have  served on 10 different charity or trade industry nonprofit boards in my 30 year career.
